La Pesanca is the largest and best equipped recreational area in the municipality of Salas. It has large green areas, numerous tables distributed throughout the site and several public barbecues.
The facilities include covered picnic areas for rainy days, children's play area with safety flooring, well-maintained public toilets and drinking water fountains.
The area is surrounded by riparian forest and has a small signposted circular path that allows for a pleasant walk through the natural environment.
